A Night to Remember: Wed Society Birmingham’s First Book of Weddings Release
On September 9th, we celebrated a milestone moment with the release of our very first Book of Weddings—and it was nothing short of magical. Hosted at the stunning Windwood Equestrian, the evening felt like stepping into a storybook garden. Guests were greeted by the estate’s horses and sweeping countryside views before arriving in a courtyard overflowing with florals by Birdsong in Bloom, including a fountain dressed head-to-toe in blooms that quickly became one of the night’s most photographed spots.
Every detail was thoughtfully designed and flawlessly executed by Kindred Weddings, who brought the garden-inspired vision to life with seamless planning. Elegant rentals from Décor 2 Adore and Savvy Events Auburn created the perfect foundation, while Ledgewood Fine Stationery added an extra layer of beauty with custom invitations and signage tailored just for the occasion.
Guests were treated to a delicious menu from Luca Lagotto, paired with signature sips by Premium Pours that kept spirits high all night long. Sweet treats came in the form of delicate macarons by In-Between Macs and stunning custom cookies by Nancy Jane’s Bakes, each one as beautiful as it was delicious.
Entertainment set the tone throughout the night, beginning with the romantic sounds of Encore Strings Birmingham, while artist Simplie Kimmie created live guest portraits that gave attendees a one-of-a-kind keepsake to take home. As the sun set, Amp’d DJ took over, filling the courtyard with energy and bringing everyone to the dance floor for a grand finale under the stars.
The evening was captured beautifully by Mykenzie Hill Photo, who ensured no detail or smile went unnoticed. Behind the scenes, Content by Gabie was gathering footage throughout the night, curating the kind of dynamic content that lets the magic live on far beyond the event itself.
Style inspiration also played its part in the celebration—our girls were dressed in chic gowns from Bella Bridesmaids Birmingham, accessorized with earrings from Bone & Arrow Designs, who also created custom pieces for Lisa and Katie of Wed Society Birmingham. Arrivals and departures were kept seamless by Parking Professionals, who ensured every guest was welcomed with ease.
Together, this incredible team of vendors transformed one September evening into an unforgettable celebration of creativity, community, and love. As we toasted the launch of our very first Book of Weddings, it was clear—this is only the beginning of many more magical moments to come for Birmingham’s wedding industry.
