Just last week, Wed Society Birmingham + Central Alabama brought together the best in the wedding industry for a night filled with inspiration, networking, and jaw-dropping design. Set within the industrial charm of Events at Haven, surrounded by exposed brick and towering windows, guests stepped into an experience unlike any other. Parking Professionals ensured a seamless arrival experience for all guests.

The evening began with a chic cocktail hour in the front room, where guests signed in while enjoying a signature charcuterie spread by Happy Catering, stunning Wed Society marquee letters by Say It In Lights, and signature cocktails. Guests mingled to the sounds of Iron City Strings before the highlight of the room—a massive pink drape created a striking focal point, building anticipation for what was to come.

As the moment arrived, the pink drape was drawn back, revealing a beautifully draped hallway that led guests into an awe-inspiring space. Decor to Adore completely transformed the venue with elegant drapery, luxurious linens, and a striking round bar as the centerpiece. On the round bar, guests found adorable matchbook favors designed by Ledgewood Fine Stationery, which added the perfect touch to the elegant setting. Overhead, Cole Buys Design created a breathtaking ceiling floral installation, adding a romantic and elevated touch. Meanwhile, Savvy Events Auburn completed the look with a stunning stage facade wrapped in wallpaper and stylish seating.

Every table was designed with intention, featuring candlelit florals by Cole Buys Design and personalized details at each seat—a Wed Society pad and pen, a sample magazine, and the sweetest touch: an individual macaron from InBetween Macs. Ledgewood Fine Stationery also designed the invitations and signage, guiding guests seamlessly through the evening’s festivities.

The night was filled with incredible flavors, thanks to Happy Catering’s full buffet of mini pastries, Mediterranean flatbread, braised beef short rib sliders, verde chicken empanadas, and more. Meanwhile, guests had a blast at the ShutterXpress Photo Booth, which featured a stunning backdrop and fun disco ball props that were an instant hit. Creative Entertainment kept the energy alive with music throughout the night. Sarah Burke Photography captured every stunning moment, while Awaken Films was on hand, shooting all the best content to relive the night in its full glory. Behind the scenes, Bree from Bree Does Social handled social media content creation, ensuring every magical detail was documented and shared in real-time.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without Sarah from Kindred Weddings, who flawlessly planned and executed every detail. From the grand entrance to the beautifully curated space, this event was a true reflection of the magic that happens when Birmingham’s finest wedding vendors come together.

Later in the evening, guests enjoyed Tina’s Market’s signature spicy Chex mix as a late-night snack on their way home.

  • Mikayla Ellis, Senior Sales Manager, Pursell Farms

  • Heather Roberts-Wood, General Manager, The Haven

  • Barrett Speirs, Owner, Decor to Adore

The discussion centered around the concept of “Uncommon Hospitality,” inspired by the book by Will Guidara.
