Behind Savvy Events are Carley and Patrick, a husband-and-wife team whose journey began at Auburn University. Their shared experiences, both personal and professional, have shaped the heart of their business.
Carley discovered her passion for weddings and events in 2015 while managing operations at Fountainview Mansion and a local country club. After spending seven years immersed in venue management, she developed a deep understanding of what makes events run smoothly and feel special. In 2022, she took that expertise and launched Savvy Events, bringing her vision full circle by reconnecting with venues like Fountainview as early partners.
Patrick plays an equally essential role, bringing a steady, solutions-focused presence to the business. His woodworking skills allow him to design and build custom rental pieces, from bars to dance floors, adding a unique, handcrafted element to Savvy Events’ offerings. While much of his work happens behind the scenes, it is foundational to the seamless experiences clients enjoy.
Together, Carley and Patrick form a balanced team, blending creativity with craftsmanship to deliver events that feel both inspired and flawlessly executed.
